History
In 1912, Robert Wieber established the Wieber Well Drilling business in Lidgerwood, North Dakota. He continued work with the family business for over 60 years. His son, Rodney Wieber, followed his father’s footsteps into the well drilling business continued working in the business until 1982. Jerry and David, Rodney’s sons, took over the business and ran the company until 2022.
In 2022, David and Jerry discontinued their partnership and David and his sons Derek and Brock formed Wieber Drilling LLC, continuing on the Wieber tradition in the water well drilling profession. Wieber Drilling has served the community and the surrounding area for over 110 years.
The Team
David Wieber
From working for his father to owning the company, David has been drilling and servicing wells in the surrounding area for over 50 years.
Derek Wieber
Derek has worked with the family business since he was in high school and has 15 plus years of knowledge and experience in well drilling and service applications. Derek is currently a board member of the North Dakota Well Drillers Association.
Brock Wieber
Brock grew up working for the family business and now is a full time attorney in Fargo, ND. Brock specializes in accounting, quoting and billing for Wieber Drilling LLC.
